Welcome New Teachers & Staff! - Welcome to all the new faces around campus, including Ms. Kainuma (Kindergarten), Ms. Oyama (3rd), Ms. Stevens (5th), and Ms. Cavasoz (5th). Of course, welcome back to the current crop of teachers and staff!  We've missed you, and we're confident this school year is going to be better than ever. 

Congratulations to Mrs. Lily Miyamoto on the birth of your newest family member!  You must be losing sleep!  You can always bring baby in and the office team will babysit for you!!

Monthly PTA Board Meeting - Our next PTA Board Meeting is scheduled for November 2009 (day to be determined) at 6:00pm.  We are now meeting in the library work room, but don't be surprised if we occassionally meet in the conference room adjacent to the Principal's office, or even in the main part of the library (we are sometimes nomads in search of food).  Teachers are always invited to attend.  Any excuse to see you is a great excuse.

Sincerest Thank You! - It truly has been a great year teachers!  With so many students achieving more than they thought was possible, there's clear indications our teachers have kept learning at the forefront of everything we do at Kanoelani.  It's a credit to your hard work, your thorough planning and preparation, and your love for our children.  A big measurement of your success is the fact that YOU PASSED AYP for the 5th year in a row!  Wow!

Your PTA Board wants to say just one more time how much we appreciate you, support you and love you.
