Pumpkin Carving (Boo!) - What Fun!!

Many friends and families came out to Kanoelani Elementary's cafeteria on Wednesday, October 28th for PTA's annual 'Pumpkin Carving Night.'  Talk about scary pumpkin creations, fancy jack-o-lantern artwork, and round orange displays of originality, Pumpkin Carving was where it was all happening.  The best part of the evening was when the lights went dark and the pumpkins got lit...it was quite the spectacle.

Thanks to those who brought canned goods to donate to Hawaii Foodbank.

What to do on 'Furlough Fridays?'

We have added a great new tab in the left-hand column called 'Furlough Fridays.'  Look there for some useful links to organizations around town that can help solve the problem of what to do with your keiki on those infamous '17-Fridays.'  We've also updated our calendar to reflect the Furlough Fridays.

Early Dismissals Coming!

Due to parent-teacher conferences, our kids are going to receive early dismissals from Monday, October 26 to Thursday, November 5.  Kids get out at 12:30pm each day.  Regular school hours resume on Monday, November 9th, with a 2:00pm dismissal time.  Don't forget your kids!!

PTA Membership Cards

We process membership cards once a week.  So if you signed-up to join Kanoelani PTA already, you can expect to see your card(s) about 1-week after signing-up.    Thanks again for joining!  That was a smart decision on your part!  Smart parents, smart kids.
